Elowen shows you the number. Most curling tools give you a dial marked low, medium and high, which tells you nothing about what the barrel is actually doing. The LED display here reads the working temperature directly, so fine or colour treated hair can be held to a specific ceiling instead of guessed at, and coarse hair can be pushed to a setting you can repeat exactly next time.

Curling itself is hands off. The motorised chamber draws a section in and rotates it for the selected time, then signals when the curl is ready. Because the machine controls both the winding tension and the duration, the difference between one curl and the next comes down to how you sectioned the hair, not how steady your wrist was. Rotation runs left, right or alternating so both sides of your head fall away from your face.

The barrel is ceramic coated, which spreads heat across the surface rather than letting it pool in hot spots, and the chamber walls keep the heated surface away from your fingers and scalp. An anti tangle sensor reverses the rotation the instant it meets resistance, so a section that is too thick releases rather than winding tighter, and automatic shut off cuts power after a period of inactivity.
